Unique Childcare – Outings to the Farm – Term & Full Time Care

Established in 2017, Finkley Nursery & Pre-School was opened by outstanding childcare professional Alison Dennis and combines our award-winning Finkley Down Farm with exceptional childcare. We are passionate about providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children aged 2-5 years to learn and discover through play.

Special Access to Finkley Down Farm
Our first nursery opened here at Finkley Down Farm and we have now expanded to nearby Finkley East Anton, along with Finkley Weeke in Winchester, and soon to be Finkley Hudson Fields in Salisbury. When visiting the farm, the children have their own private entrance allowing them unlimited and exclusive access even when the farm is closed to the public. Could it get any better?

Exceptional Childcare
Each nursery has been purposefully designed around every aspect of a child’s development, with large outdoor areas, sensory areas, hard standings, vegetable plots, mud kitchens and so much more. Inside we have done away with conventional rooms and created a free flow play environment. This gives the children freedom to explore all the different areas.

Hands-on Learning Experience
Access to Finkley Down Farm allows for a rich, hands-on learning experience in which both formal and informal education can flourish. Our children will be active learners, given opportunities to experience the world through their senses, physical involvement and active play in a way that is unique to the farm and all that it offers.
