Whatever the weather, our enormous purpose-built, light and airy indoor Play Barn has an array of fun adventure areas suitable for children of all ages. Whether you are an under two, under five or over five and upwards, there’s something for everyone! With plenty of seating near the play equipment, you can keep a close eye on the kids or join them at play.
In the Play Barn you’ll also find our friendly Greedy Goat Tearoom and the welcoming Welly Shed. We offer lots of choice for different dietary needs, whether you’re after coffee and a slice of homemade cake, an ice cream, a hearty lunch or simply a relaxed and spacious area to enjoy your own snacks and sandwiches.
Indoor Play Zones
Toddler Times
Toddler Times is specially designed for under 2’s and is the ultimate soft play area. Built over two floors there’s plenty of space to explore, clamber and climb. From farm themed play barns with animal and tractor building blocks and rockers, to gentle slides and swinging cradles.
Firefighters Fitness Training
Finkley Fire Station is the place for all budding firefighters under 5. Discover a fully equipped fitness area including a cargo net and monkey bar hoops. When that emergency call comes in be ready to slide down the fireman’s pole to reach the ground floor as quick as you can!
The Big One
The Big One is our huge soft play area for whatever your age. Built over two floors, it’s the perfect place for energetic kids to have fun. A great expanse of space to run around and packed with oversized stairs, slopes and slides to speed down and tons of tubes and zigzag chicanes to crawl through. For those daring enough, the large drop slide opens at weekends and in school holidays.
Fowl Play
Everyone is welcome when it comes to protecting the Finkley chickens and their hen house from the foxes! Are you ready to be a supreme Rooster Shooter or a fearsome Free Ranger? Our cannon soft ball arena is suitable for little chicks, mother hens and Mr Fox. We recommend anyone under 6 is accompanied by a responsible adult.
