At Finkley Down Farm you’ll find acres of outdoor adventure for the whole family to enjoy throughout the year. Brimming with fun-packed practical play and games to explore, from climbing frames, sand pit, trampolines and jumping pillows to go-carts, crazy golf and water wars. Where will you start?

Whatever your age, there’s something for everyone! Enjoy all the fantastic fun and get involved with your kids. Alternatively, there’s lots of seating around and about, so if you’d like to take a moment to rest and take a break you can still watch out for the kids, while they play and make the most of all their unbounded energy!

Adventure Play

Eco Play

Explore the slides and bridges, climb the scramble nets, swing in the basket and test your fitness in the strength square. All made from recycled plastic!

Atticus’ Adventure

Go as high as you dare and enjoy endless fun on this towering adventure with net climbers, ropes, bridges, slides and tunnels.

Rocket Slide

Nicknamed the Rocket because you can almost reach the stars climbing to the top of this super-sized slide and then return to Earth at lightning speed.

Finkley Young Drivers

Farmula 1

Vroom! Vroom! Race your friends around the track in a pedal Go Kart. Younger children can be accompanied by an adult in these people-powered vehicles.

Tractor Town (U5's)

Brumm! Brumm! While you peddle around this roleplay town on your tractor, why not visit the tractor depot or take your tractor for a wash? On the way to the farm shop, don’t forget to fill up your engine with diesel!

Little Farmers Driving School

Voom! Voom! Drivers get ready to start your engines. It’s time to have a go at driving realistic miniature Land Rovers – just like the grown-ups! You even receive a driving test certificate.

Family Fun

Farmyard Golf

Are you ready for a round of holes? You’ll need to dodge the ducks, pass the pig, and successfully get your ball around all the other farmyard animals to score an ace.

Pirate Water Wars

Ahoy there! Jump aboard the pirate ship and get ready to take aim. Launch water filled balloons at the opposing pirates before they soak you! (Seasonal)

Trampolines

Bounce away on one of our three specially enclosed trampolines! Have fun with friends of a similar size, for ten years and under.

Jumping Pillows

Enjoy fabulous inflatable fun on our giant outdoor jumping pillows for all big kids and the young at heart! There’s a toddler pillow for the under 5’s too.

Farmer Charlie’s Chums

Chug! Chug! Climb up onto one of the play-time friends like Dickie the Dumper, Douzie the Dozer and Colly the Combine Harvester. You can even get to sit and play on original farm tractors too!

Sand Play

Explore, experiment, build and play in the outdoor sand pit, with buckets and spades to share. While we can’t give you the sea, there is a water tap so you can make your own rock pool!

Smart Play

Play, create, investigate and explore sensory play at Finkley with a wide range of interactive games found throughout the indoor and outdoor areas. Going beyond fun for fun’s sake.

Musical Village

Make as much noise as you like playing on all sorts of outdoor instruments and discover the joy of music, melody, tone and rhythm, whether on your own or in an impromptu band with others!
