Yes, we have numerous hand washing stations around the farm- along with some additional hand sanitiser points at all toilets and play areas.

To protect yourself and others around you please wear your face-covering in the Gift Shop, Café, Toilets, Reptile Encounters and Animal Barns.

Yes, touchpoints in the toilets will be routinely sanitised and we ask you to use the hand sanitiser provided before using the toilets.

Our Play Barn will not be opening just yet.

The Government has announced stringent guidelines for the opening of Indoor Play which includes one way systems on the play structures, no re-opening of ball areas or sensory areas, pre-booked timeslots, there are new requirements regarding the ventilation of the Play Barn along with enhanced cleaning regimes between sessions which means that any indoor play facility will not be able to operate as before.

It will take time to work out how we can open to provide a safe and enjoyable Indoor Play for all of you.

Yes, we do. This can be purchased at the entrance and is only suitable for goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas and cattle.

We have a limited amount to sell each day so that our animals receive a balanced diet.

Yes, you will have to pre-book via our website. If your pass was still active following our closure it will be extended by 3 months. If you pass expired during our closure it will be extended by the time you lost.

We have restricted admission tickets per day in line with government guidance. Our visitor capacity at Finkley Down Farm will be reviewed regularly, with the priority being to ensure social distancing is adhered to.

You must book a time to arrive to help us reduce queues on entry however once you are on-site, you can stay as long as you like or until we close at 5:30pm.

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs into the farm. Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are most welcome. We do insist that dogs are not left in cars under any circumstances.

We advise that you avoid contact with animals and like any other visitors wash your hands frequently during your visit.

All children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Yes, we have lots of tables by our outdoor play areas which make the perfect setting for a picnic.
