Entry & Tickets FAQ's

We accept all major credit cards and contactless payments. Unfortunately we do not accept coins or banknotes on site. We are also unable to accept American Express (AMEX).

We highly recommend buying tickets online before visiting as you will get the best price and guaranteed entry. During peak times we may not have capacity for walk-ins.

Tickets cost more when purchased at the entrance, however you are welcome to pre-book tickets online right up until the point of entry if you want to.

Please bring along either blue badge, letter showing receipt of PIP/ DLA/ carers allowance, gateway card or similar.
No, you can stay as long as you like or until we close at 5:30pm. However staggered arrival times may be used during peak times to help the management visitors around the farm.
Animal feed can be purchased online to feed the sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas and cows. During peak times feed will be limited to ensure the animals receive a balanced diet. It is advisable to prebook this online as we can sell out. Don’t forget to wash your hands after feeding!
Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs into the farm. Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs are most welcome. We do insist that dogs are not left in cars under any circumstances.
All children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
We advise that you avoid contact with animals and like any other visitors wash your hands frequently during your visit.
At Tractor Tommy’s Toy Shop you can buy Finkley branded t-shirts, hats, magnets, pens and pencils. Available exclusively on our website, you can purchase a Gift Voucher, Annual Membership or a Finkley Gift Box to share the Finkley experience with others.

Annual & Term-Time Membership Pass FAQ's

Annual Pass holders are not required to pre-book except for Christmas at Finkley.
Passes are purchased on a named basis with photographs. Only those named on the pass can gain entry.
On your next visit let us know and we can sort out a new set.
GoCardless will attempt a payment 3 times, if the 3rd payment is unsuccessful your pass will be cancelled. If you wish to continue with a pass you will need to repurchase via our website.
Payment dates relate to the expiry date of your pass, so we are unable to change the day payment is taken.
Please get in touch with us. We will cancel your current direct debit and then you can go ahead and repurchase a monthly pass on using the correct bank account.
Passes purchased via monthly payment are valid for 12 months. 12 payments are taken across the year then the pass will expire.
Purchase a 1-year-old pass. It will be valid for 1 year from date of purchase. When you come to renew next year they will then need a child pass.
You will receive email reminder that your pass is due to expire, along with a link in the email which will take you to the renewal page.

When you purchase a monthly pass with Finkley, you agree to complete 12 payments. If you are unable to make all the payments please get in touch with us sales@finkleydownfarm.co.uk

Facilities & Visitor Safety FAQ's

Yes, we have numerous hand washing stations around the farm. Please note that hand sanitiser is not a sufficient replacement for proper handwashing.
10 is our target for some play equipment but all ages can enjoy our farm, indoor play and outdoor adventure.

When it’s time to refuel, you’ll find a wide selection of homemade hot and cold food and a broad choice of drinks, available to eat-in or takeaway from the Greedy Goat Tearoom, Hungry Hatch Kiosk and Tractor Tommy Toy Shop. Find out more here.

We aim to accommodate all allergens where possible and serve a variety of hot and cold food and drinks that are gluten free, dairy free, and vegan. Should you have any special dietary requirements or questions, simply let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
You are very welcome to bring your own picnic and we provide plenty of outdoor and under cover picnic benches.

Smoking or Vaping is only permitted in the car park. Providing you have your entry sticker, you are free to come and go as you please.

To make the most of the play equipment safely, arms and legs should be covered and socks must be worn. During wetter weather boots or wellies are advisable. While the farm has lots of paths however children cannot resist a puddle!

You can find a microwave in the Greedy Goat Tearoom to heat up baby food for your little ones or if you prefer we can supply hot water for bottles. We have plenty of highchairs to make feeding time that little bit easier too. Along with baby changing facilities also in the Play Barn.

Yes, we offer a variety of Birthday Party options which can be viewed and booked here.

Yes, we offer Educational visits which can be viewed and booked here.

Yes we do, for those studying animal based courses at college as part of their course requirements. Please email placements@finkleydownfarm.co.uk with the course you are studying, the hours you require and dates available.

Sorry, we do not have a volunteer program currently. We are looking into this in the future.

Can you donate a prize to our raffle or fundraiser?

Finkley Down Farm receives many raffle prize requests throughout the year. To ensure we support our local community as much as possible, we ask that any requests comply with all the following conditions:

• Only registered charities or schools can be considered (no third parties will be considered)
• Any request must come from the local community and within the SP11 & SP10 postcodes
• Maximum one prize per event

If your request fits the above criteria, please send us a stamped addressed envelope along with a covering letter, and we will post a pair of tickets out to you.

Preparations are in full swing to prepare the farm for the Christmas season. While some animals may temporarily occupy different enclosures, visitors can still locate them in various areas throughout the farm.
